I am inspired by creation to tell stories through making things and initiating artful experiences.

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2014 with degrees in photography and sculpture, I moved back home to Wilmington, my favorite little beach town in North Carolina. From 2014 to 2018, I shared studio spaces in Acme Art Studios and Wabi Sabi Warehouse and worked a myriad of hands-on, art-centered jobs while curating and hosting community art experiences (Thirty Under 30, OMNI, Full Frontal, Landscape and Memory). In January 2021, after two fabulous years in Portland, Oregon, I started working in Wilmington’s film and television industry. I currently work in the art department making and handling props, creating graphics, or art directing. When not working in film, I am freelancing as a professional inkjet printer and graphic artist, alongside gigs at Peace Rose Montessori School, the Cameron Art Museum, UNC-Wilmington, and Honey Head Films.

My favorite hobbies lately are writing, yoga, film photography, and creating the home of my girlhood dreams. I feel most connected to God and childhood memories while exploring new places, diggin’ in dirt, eating good food, teaching, neighborhood roaming, floating on water, or making things. I love knowing people and forming connections, and take after my mom with an independent spirit, my brothers as a dedicated creative, my dad as industrious, my cousins as empowered, my aunts as a hostess, my uncles as a protector, my nana as bold, my grandma as kind, and my nephews with a curious lust for life.
